INFECTED:: Personally, I wish they would have kept the Screamer, but I understand how difficult it would be to prevent it from escaping. (especially on Versus). I also think a Spitter-like infected who emitted some type of glue substance would be nice. Possibly saliva (eww), which slowed down survivors. I think it should last significantly longer than spitter spit, which would cause Survivors to take a completely different route or defend against more Special Infected attacks until the the substance was gone.
SURVIVORS:: Seeing as how in the Passing, the Midnight Riders had escaped on their tourbus, I think at least one of the band members should be in l4d3 (if there is one). Possibly the tour bus ran out of gas (cliche) , and they had to gather gas from a gas station, and 3 of the rock stars were killed. Then along the way, the remaining "Rider" could have picked up 3 other survivors. ((Perhaps, for the female character, it could have been a Midnight Rider groupie, that was on the tour bus?))
REUNION??:: I think in L4D3, or in DLC, it would be cool to see Rochelle, Ellis, Coach, and Nick make it to New Orleans, and learn that the military isn't worth relying on (like the Original Surviors did). Then they possibly decide to return, to try and regroup with the Original Survivors. They then find that the Originals had decided to move somewhere else, since the L4D2 survivors had told them Savannah was not a good place to go. Then the L4D3 survivors go through their own journey only to meet up with the other 7 survivors (even possibly another death, or another survivor). Then they make a REAL last stand at some type of labratory building against a gigantic force of infected. Possibly all of them standing on some kind of high platform, with huge amounts of infected (somewhat like Survival) running at them. With multiple Smokers/Spitters/Chargers/Tanks/ATTACKING WITCHES/Boomers/Hunters/Jockeys/[[New Infected]]. They are defending the labratory complex and a genocist/doctor/chemist/smart guy who is developing a temporary cure to the infection. Once they hold out long enough, they spray the cure onto the huge hordes. Then I think the developers could decide if the cure works or not. If it did (yay storybook ending...?) and if it didn't it would just make the infection that more scarier. It is uncurable perhaps and it would verify The Passing tagline... Nobody Survives Forever!
That's my story! I'm new to the forums so HI!

I have a couple of ideas for infected. 1. The head is kind of like one from a snake, including no ears. It's teeth are at odd angles, making them effectivly sharp. It has a hunch, and massive lumps, mainly on it's back. Inside the bumps are poisonis gas, which deal a small amount of damage normally, and increased damage when shot. It rushes at the survivers, and makes a screaching sound. 2.

Sorry, i hit the post button. 2. Its like a normal zombie until you shoot it, but when it takes damage, its blood reacts with a substance on its skin, and it catches on fire. It has thick skin, so it can take more damage, and the fire doesn't hurt it, but it hurts survivors.
Survivors: Gansta FTW.
Weapon: Shovel. Duel-wield kitchen knives.

Infected: The Gunner Description: The Infection has caused these humans to form tubes on their wrists which shoots out a deadly subtance. (like a wrist blaster like Super Battle Droids) Damage: 4 per shot

I was disappointed to read that someone else already posted a similar idea, but I made this digital painting a few months ago base on my own idea of a Glider (and just today found this forum). It is like a mixture of a hunter and a charger but the jump button, when pressed during a jump, makes him flap his arms (to gain altitude slowly) and glide when the button is held. So, he would have extreme maneuverability once airborne and gliding but getting airborne takes some time and effort (so once they land, tackle, or miss with a tackle, they are vulnerable till they can get gliding again). The main attack is a swooping tackle (this is the mixture of the 'Charge' and the 'Pounce') that not only carries the victim a good distance but also lifts them over a certain height to clear some obstacles (making it more difficult for allies to come to the rescue) (to balance this, the Glider would do the majority of it's damage during the initial tackle and less damage than a hunter during its 'pinned and biting' attack). Once the Glider and the Victim Land, either on the ground or on the side of a wall, the Glider pins the Victim and begins to bite at them, doing damage over time. The 'swoop attack' could be preformed from any place higher than the target, so the Glider also should have the ability to climb on any surface (walls and ceilings, etc) to gain the upper ground when indoors and gliding is not an option. What this Special Zombie adds to the game, especially when outdoors, is that it forces the survivors to start looking up, in the sky and on ceilings, or else the glider will catch them off guard. As I play the game, I notice that allot of the action is on the ground or on roof tops and the like....this adds a new dimension to the Specials. If you like my image/idea please check out my online portfolio at www.wyrdo.com and pass it on to anyone looking to hire a concept artist or illustrator (*hint hint*, Valve!). (shameless self promotion, I know, but I genuinely Love the L4D games and have tons of ideas for Special and Uncommon Zombies.) Attachments:

That's my story! I'm new to the forums so HI!I dont think that's a good idea. Think about it. All the zombies has bleeding eyes and ears. Not to mention missing limbs. Not only that, the fact that zombies are easily mutilated shows that their entire body structure is severely weakened by decay. There definitely wouldnt and SHOULDNT be a cure for it. That'd be worse coz then you'd have conscious people dying in immense pain. That is NOT humanitary

How about...
ITEMS: Night Vision - Replaces Flashlight ( Flashlights are now items to be found around maps ) Map - Replaces Medkit ( Everytime you look at it, it shows you item locations or shortcuts ) WEAPONS: Fire Extinguisher - Replaces Secondary ( Takes out fires and hides your location on regular versus or when on campaign, zombies won't find you, could also push back zombies )
UPGRADES: Fighting Gloves - Adds on to your shoving ( Gives more damage to the zombies and pushes them back more )

Survivor: I would love to see Keith as a survivor! Then he could tell a lot of stories about Ellis! Infected: I was thinking some sort of zombie that could crawl on any surface. (Like the aliens from AVP) I know valve wants to keep the zombies somewhat realistic which is why they won't make invisible or flying zombies but I think one that can crawl on any surface would be realistic. weapon: A broken wine bottle Map: I think a cool campaign would be an airport >.<

Night Vision - Replaces Flashlight ( Flashlights are now items to be found around maps ) Map - Replaces Medkit ( Everytime you look at it, it shows you item locations or shortcuts ) Night Vision: This would be very unfair, as it removes the whole teamwork idea (I.E., when you reload/on a ladder/healing, you can't see for the few seconds that you are performing those actions) for light. Map: This sounds more like a hack than it is useful. Kills off the fun of searching rooms for certain supplies. If any of your ideas for L4D items were put into the games, L4D would no longer be fun. Instead, either most items would make the game play itself, or would be so useless, no one would even bother to pick these items up.
