This is a common topic on Video Game forums so here you go! Just post your ideas, whether they be vague or broad, of an Infected, Survivor, map, or weapon.

Well, if its just for L4D 1, a campaign called "Blood Freeze", set after the Last Stand. It takes place during a slightly climate change for the area the survivors are in (Lets call it purpsburg for now). It'd be the L4D1 version of Hard Rain, with snow storms replacing Rain Storms. The survivors would have to collect fuel and other supplies (Ammo, food etc) to survive the journey.
The first chapter would be "The Bunker"; which see's the survivors traverse through an abandoned bunker that wasnt very far from the rescue vehicle. In here they would have a choice of taking the longer route through the kitchen, lab and barracks, which would have less infected in general, or the armoury, maintenance tunnels and tourture room, which would be shorter, but with more infected.
The second chapter would be "The Scrapyard", which would see the survivors fight through, dun-dun, a scrapyard. The scrapyard would have a lot of traps set up by previous survivors that had passed through. This chapter's crescendo event would see the survivors have to activate a car-crusher to cross through the scrapyard, and the crusher would grind cars loudly, causing a larger-than-usual horde to attack. Once done, the survivors would locate some weaponry to take back.
The third chapter would be "The Evac", takiing place in an overrun evacuation center set up by CEDA, this campaign would feature several automated turrets to activate. This campaign's first crescendo involves opening a safe containg the first victim of the infected, and abruptly ends when the first victim is resurrected due to being "The First" and breaks out of the safe, allowing the survivors to proceed. The First then begins stalking the survivors, but cant be killed, only driven off. The second crescendo involves having to activate a defense system to blow a hole in the roof to escape the evac center. "The First" would attack randomly during this crescendo, until it ends. Once they escape, they find a safe-house in a grocery store, which gives them food.
And then, the last one, the "Escape the City Finale", the survivors would have to blow open a route to reach the Rescue Vehicle, while being pounded randomly by the infected. Halfway through, they encounter a half-destroyed military vehicle, and scavenge gas from it. Making there way to the rescue vehicle, they find the driver dead, and the refueler on the vehicle damaged, they would have to reactivate it, and then survive against the horde, while killing tanks and eventually, the First (Its killed when a grenade is wedged in its neck, exploding and destroying it) when the vehicle is fixed, they drive off, thus ending the campaign.
The Snow Storms would happen randomly throughout all of the levels, except the Bunker. It happens in the evac center because its really fucked up, with holes in it and the like. This campaign would feature severel battered models for the survivors as they progress through the campaign.
So......... Whaddya think?

I actually thought up a campaign idea the very same day we got this new forum.
Here's the old forum post.
I've started this thread for anyone who has an idea for a new L4D(2) campaign.
Here's my idea.
Campaign Name: Milk Run.
Tagline: Cleanup on Aisle 7.
Idea: It spans the gap between Death Toll and Dead Air.
1. of levels: 3.
Layout: Level 1: The survivors get off The Slater's boat, and fight their way to a safe room occupied by another survivor, Clayton; who lets them into the safe room.
Level 2: Clayton sends them off to the nearby grocery store to find food and supplies, and while on their way to the store, they see a CEDA poster telling them to get to Metro International Airport. They go to the store, in which an insane survivor named Ted (Chicago Ted, actually) triggers a alarm, causing the infected to attack. However, he has forgotten to barricade the back door of the store, so the infected break through and attack him. The survivors grab supplies and strap it to their backs, and get back to the safe room.
Level 3: They leave the safe room attempting to get the the airport, and after fighting through a whole bunch of infected, they get to the safe room underneath the greenhouse.
I know it's not perfect, but I think it's pretty good, what do you think?

My own kind of Special Infected would a something opposite to a Tank. Instead of have muscles for the upper portion of the body it would focus on the legs.
It's Primary attack would Kicking surviors and Secondary attack would be Ground Stomp. The Ground Stomp would act like a quake but making it like a narrow attack. Kind of like how The Hulk lifts a piece of earth and it comes out like a path.
It would be called TopKick or Kicker
For a new Survivor, I'd would have a S.W.A.T guy. There's no better survivor than one who has great experience in survival, weapons, and tactics. Of course a S.W.A.T guy would know all that. So you can't go wrong.
A new weapon I would think of is a Bow-gun. First of all it may seem dumb but there are good benefits to it. It's quieter when you shoot it. It's accurate. Lastly you never have reload problems. Also when you shoot, it should cause the zombie to get flung back hard and like pin to a wall. Maybe even like pierce through two zombies.

I would love seeing the MP5 and SG552 made regular weapons.
Other than that, a G36k appeals to me. It would have a slightly higher rate of fire and reload time than the M16, but do a little less damage and have less recoil.

I have a sort of crazy idea for a infected.
It is called the:Whisperer
Ok so this is sort of what it will be like: U have to sneak around it (sort of like a witch) and you must not let it see you. Now i know this sounds hard but it will have its back turned and if you go slow enough it wont hear you. That is because it has a lack of hearing but because of this it has amazing eyesight.
If it does see you it will start making this weird sort of whispery/raspy noise that will attract a horde and special infected. If it doesnt see you dont try to kill it because that will make it see you. But if it already does u must kill it after it whispers which is about 3 secs and u have to shoot it in the back. If u dont shoot it in the back fast enough it will scurry away and appear somewhere else like another spot in the same chapter or in another chapter.
Well that my idea...I know its sort of weird but yea.
